Called EMHub, the 9.4-acre specialised, six-storey ramp-up facility with a one-stop, self-contained e-Commerce ecosystem is expected to be ready by 2022.
SCLand Developement Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alcom Group Berhad held a Groundbreaking Ceremony on 23 April at Selangor Science Park 1, Kota Damansara.
Attended by Guests of Honour, YAB Tuan Amirudin Shari, Menteri Besar of Selangor, YB Dato’ Teng Chang Khim, Senior Executive Councillor and Chairman of the Standing Committees for Investment, Industry & Commerce, Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) & Chairman of SITEC, YB Tuan Hee Loy Sian, Chairman of Environment, Green Technology, Consumer & Non-Islamic Affairs Committee, Dato’ Hasan Azhari Hj Idris, CEO of Invest Selangor Berhad, Dato’ Seri Subahan Kamal. Chairman of Alcom Group Berhad and Dato’ Tony Lim, Managing Director of SCLand Development Sdn Bhd, the ceremony heralded the start of a new dawn in the Malaysian e-Commerce industry.
This e-Commerce hub is a manifestation of the SCLand Developement Sdn Bhd‘s vision to elevate the e-Commerce industry with a one-stop, self-contained e-Commerce ecosystem and further complemented by office suites, incubator & co-working space and retail space at Emporis.
According to Dato’ Seri Subahan Kamal, Chairman of Alcom Group Berhad:

At the ceremony, EMHub and Emporis were jointly the first in Selangor to be awarded a provisional SITEC e-Commerce Hub Certification by YAB Tuan Amirudin Shari.
With this certification, SITEC and the Selangor State Government will officially recognise the developements as being facilitative of e-Commerce activities in Malaysia, through its stellar physical infrastructure, fulfilment & distribution centre solutions, an e-Commerce friendly ecosystem, and a commitment to talent development programmes in areas of Coding, Blockchain Technology, Artificial Intelligence and many more to be conducted by the Incubator in collaboration with prestigious world-renowned universities.
