‘GREATER TOGETHER’ FAHRENHEIT88 OFFERS ART-TASTIC ACTIVITIES TO COMMEMORATES 66 YEARS MERDEKA CELEBRATION

The launch of exhibition was held on 14 August, graced by the presence of The Minister of Unity, YB Datuk
Aaron Ago Dagang.

Among the notable attendees was the renowned local artist, Dato’ Lat. 100 distinguished guests joined the celebration, commemorating the spirit of unity and independence that defines Malaysia.

This Merdeka, Fahrenheit88 transforms into a world of art in collaboration with Arkib Negara.

Immerse yourself in a colourful journey through local creativity as over 50 homegrown artists’ showcase their artworks at the ‘Seiring Sejalan’ Cartoon Exhibition, from now until 30 September, 11am until 7pm at 2nd Floor. With three captivating sections such as cartoons, comics and animations, this exhibition is a visual feast for the senses!

On weekends, delight in interactive art activities and workshops such as caricatures by local talents, basic manual art & cartoon workshop, cartoon drawing demonstration, basic animation stop-motion workshop, basic digital art and cartoon workshop, basic comic workshop, basic doodle demonstration & workshop, and Jawi comic workshop.

Don’t miss the lively mascot appearances of ‘Robozeta’, ‘Awang Khenit’, and ‘Keluangman’, adding an extra dose of fun for all ages. If you’re an art enthusiast, the flea market will enthrall you with merchandise from skilled artists.

Be sure to also check out the innovative pop-up café ‘The Bean’, nestled within the exhibition, offering a 2D- inspired experience. Located at the main entrance of the mall is the legendary Nash Rambler Convertible. Delve into history with a glimpse of the iconic car that carried Tunku Abdul Rahman during the historic declaration of independence in Malacca.
