According to Mohd Azhan Che Mat, General Manager of MyTOWN Shopping Centre,

To further hype up the celebration, MyTOWNKL and IKANO Centres released “Raya Meriah Max”, a brand video that highlights the message of joyful celebration can bring people together and create unforgettable memories. The air is filled with laughter, music, and the aromas of delicious food, creating an atmosphere of pure joy and happiness.”

Starting from 31 March until 1 May 2023, shoppers are welcomed to participate in an array of Raya activities and be mesmerised by special performances while shopping or dining at MyTOWNKL.

Be entertained by various cultural performances and workshops line-up taking place at various locations in the Centre.

To further elevate the festivity ambience, shoppers are encouraged to explore the three- dimensional ‘kampung’ jetty photo corner to capture moments with their loved ones. MyTOWNKL is also reviving the tradition of sending locally made postcards – creatively illustrated by Artbysong, complement with a heartfelt personal message by the sender that carries sentimental value for years to come. As such, a post office setting with retro mailbox is re-created for the convenience of the shoppers to deliver their festive greetings – a proud collaboration with Pos Malaysia.

Shoppers will be rewarded with exclusive redemption items when they shop during this festive period. Premium items inclusive of MyTOWNKL’s branded versatile shoulder bag, alongside with artsy postcard, and limited-edition Raya packet are available as redemption.

To continue the joyous celebration, MyTOWNKL collaborated with talented local composers – Zimi Sofaz and Kamarul Arifin Baharun, and artist Shiha Zikir in producing a trending Raya tune. Leveraging on the production, TikTokers are welcomed to challenge your dance moves by using the tune.
