The store also besides offers a place to explore products, it is also a place to share ideas and discover how one can speak up and speak out against injustice together.

At The Body Shop KLCC, a beautiful, highly detailed mural entitled Flow of Nature by artist Haris Rashid shares the brand’s message of Changemaking for the Planet.

The mural featured above the ACT bay, mural artists, Haris Rashid artistically translates the harmonious rhythm of the natural world onto the cityscape canvas.
With intricate precision, he intertwines lush foliage, meandering rivers, and vibrant wildlife, embracing the Refill bottles emulating the iconic Twin Towers to create a scene brimming with vitality.
Across the world, The Body Shop’s Changemakers’ Workshop stores have been designed to reflect the local communities they serve. Some feature murals, installations or sculpture by local artists, others are filled with literature and notices about local charities and organisations to support.
“To a lot of people, the concept of ‘changing the world’ can sound a bit abstract. The launch of our Changemakers’ Workshop is a very practical mission: to change consumer behaviour. We want to bring people together to realise they are capable of making small changes that could benefit our communities and the planet. We launched our Changemakers’ Workshop stores because we want to start conversations and mobilise people to drive change right where they are.

We want people to get talking, get inspired and get active in our spaces. We want our customers to have fun playing with our products but also have conversations about issues that affect them, helping us campaign to progress equality.” says Dexter Foong, Director of Corporate Development InNature Berhad.“
In each instance, The Body Shop wants to help bring to life issues and stories that are important to the local communities, meaning each store feels relevant and connected.
New Concept Store
Recyclable materials, 100% recycled countertops created from recycled plastic destined for landfill: circularity is the beating heart of this store concept. The stores are fitted with a range of upcycled and reclaimed materials such as reclaimed wood and part- recycled plastic storage crates. Even down to the lightweight aluminium facade, every care has been taken to ensure the environmental footprint of every Changemakers’ Workshop is as tiny as possible.

Stride over to the central sink area where you will be able to smell, lather and caress The Body Shop’s most-loved products. There is also an all new makeup stand complete with a mirror to experiment with the looks that make you feel most powerful.
The gifting station is the place to unleash your creativity

Personalise gifts with ribbons and recyclable* paper and treat your loved ones to something special. Or if you’re having a self-love kind of day, help yourself to free stickers to personalise your very own refill bottle.
The store aims to be a pillar of the local community and a place for everyone to talk. The dedicated ACT area gives customers the chance to learn about the issues that affect our communities, see for themselves how rewarding social and environmental change can be and meet others who feel the same way.
DESTINATION REFILL

Change begins with small acts of love for the planet. This is not a gimmick. The honest truth is that transforming the way people buy beauty products is impossible without the support of the global community. With our refill stations, The Body Shop is encouraging people to hold on to their aluminium bottles and see that the power to make a positive change is, literally, in their hands.

Take any 300ml aluminium bottle and fill it up with any the brand’s best-loved shower gels, shower creams and shampoos. When you run out of lather, just bring back the clean bottle to refill with the same liquid or try another one.
Want to recycle you’re the Body Shop empty packaging?
Workshop staff can do it for you. Bring back our empty packaging and place into our bin, the packaging will be brought to our warehouse for sorting and recycled responsibly. We also upcycled our plastic packaging into usable products such as hair combs and soap dishes. It is reborn. And the planet loves you back.
